(A Non-Profit Corporation in King County, WA)

The Charity Communications Foundation is a Not For Profit, Charitable 501(c)(3), Corporation based in Seattle, Washington. Our purposes are to loan two-way radio equipment to educational, charitable, non-profit, civic, community and similar agencies or organizations (in support of their purposes) to support specific events which typically are of short duration. In order to accept and use this equipment, the requesting organization must be eligible to apply for and receive an FCC license (it is not required that you apply for or get a license, only that you are eligible to do so). We can also loan equipment to properly licensed amateur radio or GMRS operators. Currently, we only provide service to organizations in the Greater Puget Sound area as we are unable to ship or deliver equipment to a wider area.

Charity Communications Foundation is a 100% volunteer, not for profit corporation, has no paid employees or agents, and does not charge for its services. We do however reserve the right to charge a rental rate sufficient to offset the cost of providing equipment if it becomes necessary to do so.
Examples of equipment loans we have provided include:
Camp Korey at Carnation Farm.
Washington Special Olympics (SOWA) for winter and summer games, and other events.
Washington State Citizen Corps and Children's Hospital partnering in support of the NW CERT Expo
King County Search & Rescue in support of multiple events.

If you have a need for two-way radio support for an event, please contact us and we can determine if we will be able to support your requirements. Tax deductible donations are welcome. Please contact us for more information.
